Numerous studies document impressive benefits from mindfulness practice and nature connection, including reduced stress, anxiety, and depression; improved sleep and immune system function; and increased creativity and vitality. Integrating nature and mindfulness amplifies the benefits and supports mind-body wellness.
This session will be held on a very scenic and peaceful trail with redwoods, oaks, ferns, meadows, and a lovely creek. You’ll be guided through gentle yet powerful practices that will help you connect more deeply with the peace and beauty of nature and leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. You will take home simple tools you can use to bring greater ease and balance into daily life and to receive more profound benefits from time in natural settings.
This program is especially appropriate for those who: want to connect with nature; spend most of their time indoors or in front of screens; are coping with chronic stress, anxiety, or depression; and/or aspire to cultivate mindfulness yet have difficulty with seated meditation or finding time to practice.

Meets at the end of Golf Club Drive (off Highway 9, near intersection of Highway 1 and close to downtown Santa Cruz—detailed instructions will be sent after you register).
